Workshops
Flow Yoga is excited to be bringing unique workshops by some of our favorite, and very talented, teachers to the Northwest. We think it is important to limit the size of our workshops and intensives for intimacy, trust and a real opportunity for growth and learning. The deeper the focus of the workshop, the smaller the allowed workshop attendance will be. Therefore, if any of these seem important to you, please send the deposit in right away to ensure your spot.

YogaFit Teacher Training Level 1
Level 1 This informative workshop gives instructors the tools to create inspiring vinyasa yoga classes that are founded on flow yet grounded in the safety of exercise science. The learning includes physical execution, transitions, and modifications to traditional yoga poses with an emphasis on effectiveness and safety. Dynamic vinyasa sequencing, flowing class formats, and transformative language for communicating the mind/body connection have made this the most popular vinyasa yoga style in the world today. While most attendees have experience as either yoga students, teachers, therapists, or as fitness professionals, there are no prerequisites, only the desire to learn and commitment to attend. Level 1 includes an innovative and experiential learning environment guided by a talented and experienced YogaFit Master Trainer, a high-quality yoga mat (first-time participants only), and a comprehensive training manual.

PreNatal Teacher Training
Creating a sangha of family yoga is an incredible experience and blessing and it all starts with offering Prenatal Yoga. This teacher training is designed by a board certified obstetrician/gynecologist who has been practicing and recommending yoga to her patients for years, the program features safety for your students and simplicity for you. Classic yoga poses have been selected specifically for use during pregnancy and the postpartum period. These are linked in a gentle "flow" vinyasa style.
Every Prenatal pose presented in the manual can be safe for your students throughout all trimesters of pregnancy. Modifications and props are clearly outlined. Confusion over "which student can do what" is eliminated. Poses to help relieve the aches and pains of pregnancy, from morning sickness to early labor pains, are included. Breathing techniques and pelvic floor exercises that your students will find valuable during labor and delivery are stressed. Anatomic changes and emotional issues are discussed.
Postpartum poses are linked in a specific order designed to follow the natural healing path of a mother's body after delivery. Teach new poses and review old favorites as you guide your students through a safe, flowing transition between pregnancy and traditional vinyasa classes.
Early Bird Cost is $269 (1 mo prior). If interested in attending this One Day Workshop, please call 1-888-786-3111 x222 or go online at www.yogafit.com to register. You will receive a home study manual in the mail prior to attending so, if possible, please register early so you have time to complete the home study prior to the training.
