In "Hot 26" yoga we teach twenty-six exercises that systematically move fresh, oxygenated blood throughout the body, to each organ and fiber, restoring all systems to healthy working order, just as nature intended. Proper weight, muscle tone, vibrant good health, and a sense of well-being will automatically follow.
In our Hot Power Flow classes you will be appropriately challenged to experience amazing transformation of body and mind.
What are some of the benefits?
There are unlimited benefits to yoga. It reduces stress, increases blood circulation, and improves strength and flexibility. Regular practice (at least three times per week) can reduce the symptoms of many chronic diseases (e.g., arthritis and thyroid disorders). It also promotes relaxation.
Why the heated room?
The room is intentionally heated to warm your muscles and allows you to work deeper. The heat also heals and helps prevents injuries. It also promotes sweating, which flushes toxins from your body. High heat is not appropriate for all bodies. If you are pregnant or have other health conditions that may be affected by the heat, such as hypertension, vascular disease, history of stroke, multiple sclerosis, or others, please consult your physician prior to attending. You can also take classes at our "warm" flow vinyasa studio, if the heat is not appropriate for you.
